This dine at Gyoza Tei Fushione Sushi Bar was more of a chance thing. I had a minor disagreement with my Nanay that prompted me to travel all the way to Cainta in the middle of the night, in the Q Plaza area to be exact where I used to work to iron out some business with my former company. Right after that, I went to the Bonanza Arcade near Brickroad with hopes to try the milk tea at Teapsy. Apparently, the milk tea place don't compete with the rest of the watering hole establishments on that strip and closes early. I could possibly had gone back to Hassan Kabab & Steak to try out their ox brain which I heard is insanely good. But Hassan was insanely crowded that night. So, I decided to try out its next door neighbor which is Gyoza Tei.
Will discuss here anything and everything under the sun. Thanks for stopping by and hanging out with me... :)

A Kebab & Steak Place For Night People
![]() |
food at Hassan Kabab & Steaks |
I wouldn't have known the existence of Hassan Kabab & Steaks if not for my friends Gael and Marianne. They lavished me with the wonderful meals they had here that naturally stirred my curiosity. The only drawback was that the restaurant only opens in the evening, right after the sun has set. Around 6 PM onward. I asked them if they know the reason behind this unusual hours of operation for a restaurant. They told me Hassan established their popularity among the night crowd. From people looking for a good meal after a hard day's work or looking for nice, chill place for a watering hole. And Hassan would like to keep it that way. I was also told that there's another branch of Hassan in Katipunan however they were not exactly sure of its location.

Remembering The Good Old Days At Cafe A nd X

cafe a nd x rice dishes |
During my good old days with the IMPI account in a BPO company that I worked with located in Cainta, Junction (to those in the know, this is already a give-away to which company I'm referring to) I only visited Cafe A nd X only two or three times. Yes. You read it right. That's the spelling of this carinderia place. The carinderia that I visited the most would be Mang Larry's and his LK (Lechon Kawali). But I do remember liking each visit here, most especially the food. If I remember it right, I first enjoyed the budbod rice here in Cafe A nd X and then to my colleague's (Kervy) restaurant in Taytay, (Gosh! I miss that place so much. If only I know how to get there by myself).
