I Like My Coffee Crafted This Way

a strong brew of coffee at Craft

As far as I know, Craft Coffee Revolution (then called Craft Coffee Workshop) started out in New Manila. I'm not really too keen on that part of the metro. I usually rely on Google Maps if the place is quite dubious for me. But sometimes I also get confused using it and I oftentimes read the maps wrong. Forgive me. I'm not really that good with geography. So you could just imagine my happiness when I've learned that Craft finally decided to branch out to places I'm quite familiar with.

Quiet Musing

2013-09-06-4900
at Chelsea

I know a lot of people who try to avoid (if they can) to eat by themselves. It seems their appetite is lost on them once they're aware of their "lonesomeness" even in a crowded room. Let's say in a fastfood chain. They would rather whip up something from their own respective pantries/dirty kitchens, even if the end product is not as satisfying as one could have at KFC (Oh! Who could just possibly resist their hot and crispy fried chicken?), as long as their state of being alone will not hit them in the face.

A Day Of Relieving Stress w/ Friends

2013-09-05-4896
rice meals at Cookbook Kitchen

Working in a BPO industry can bring a lot of stress. And harboring too much stress can bring danger to one's health. So for people who still think that working in this kind of industry is just a piece of cake, might be they know little of how the system works in a BPO or they're totally ignoramus about it.

Feel The New York Vibe At The Heart Of Ortigas

chili chicken burger at Borough
Soft, muted lighting. Earth tone colors. A restaurant that's very masculine in appearance with a very laid back vibe but the ladies were not put off with a dash of floral accents thrown into the picture. They said Borough tries to imbibe the look and feel of a typical New York diner. I'm wont to believe that even if I haven't been to New York. So, imagine my profound excitement when I finally set foot here together with my friends, Pam and Harris, to try out what they call "New York comfort food".

Delightfully Shi Lin

shi lin's dumpling, noodles & rice meal

I won't deny it, I was quite intimidated when I first visited Shi Lin on their branch at The Podium. It looked so classy and polished in its minimalist design that one would expect to burn thousands of pesos to get to try the wonderful dimsums and shiomais in this Chinese/Taiwanese resto. But, I was sooo wrong. This restaurant boast of wonderful, hearty Chinese food at an affordable price. Delightful!

Sebastian's Ice Cream: Blissful Indulgence In Every Spoonful

ice cream and ice cream bar

Ever since I tried the ice cream products here in Sebastian's, I couldn't stop raving about it. It's on top of my ice cream favorites. Personally, Sebastian's is on the same level with international ice cream company such as Haagen Dazs and Ben & Jerry's, in terms of taste and quality. Maybe even better.

Ingenious Filipino Cuisine At Cafe de Bonifacio

embutido and pasta

I seldom went to Filipino restaurants, either I'm so used to it because my Tita Ling does cook quite good Filipino dishes that going to a Filipino restaurant does not appeal to me that much. Or restaurant that offers international cuisine has more magnetic pull on me that I often overlook Filipino restaurants.
